Medical Interpreter Training Winter 2012
Thanks to an overwhelming interest in our MIT classes, Metaphrasis is happy to announce that there are three training courses scheduled for Winter 2013. While two of our classes are currently at full capacity, our Winter 2013 Session 2 class is open for highly qualified candidates to register! Winter 2013 Session 2 will be held during the following days:

Upcoming Conferences
From January 18th to January 20th, Metaphrasis will attend the 2013 International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA) Conference in Miami, Florida! This year’s theme is “Specialized Interpreting; Getting Beyond the Basics: Exploring Quality Interpreting for Multiple Specialties”. Additionally, Metaphrasis’ Manager of Training Programs, Sasha F. Carrillo, will have the honor of presenting on “Preparing for the Challenge: Interpreting in Mental Health Settings”.
Staff from Metaphrasis will also be attending the 2013 Diversity RX Conference from March 11th to March 14th in Oakland, California. The conference, which aims to bring awareness to quality healthcare for culturally diverse populations, includes training sessions, workshops, roundtable discussions, and more!
